Music in a Digital Age

She is completely inside the music—headphones on, the outside world fading away. I created this 12 × 12 ft mural for Thrive Art District to capture that private moment when a song takes over and everything else goes quiet. The lines crossing her eyes suggest signal, data, and the invisible connections behind the way we listen now. Technology changed the device, but not the emotional pull of music.
