Current of Light

The Chicane Club Exterior Mural

West Palm Beach, Florida

Created for The Chicane Club, a private sim racing and motorsports club in West Palm Beach, this mural brings the suggestion of speed to the building itself. Blue and amber lines sweep across a black façade, bend around a corner, and open into wide loops near the entrance. From a distance, they read like light caught in a long-exposure photograph. Up close, the glow is paint: narrow bright centers surrounded by soft layers of color.

The blue and gold palette echoes the club’s visual identity. Long, sweeping curves carry the racing theme outside, giving the exterior its own sense of momentum before visitors step inside.

One composition, several walls

The building changes height, turns corners, and breaks into doors, windows, and a deep entrance recess. The lines connect those separate surfaces. On the taller wall, they rise above the garage opening before dropping toward the lower roofline. Around the other side, they stretch into overlapping rings that frame the approach to the door.

The black background gives each color room to breathe. Electric blue brings a cool edge; amber adds warmth. Where the two cross, the movement becomes tighter, then opens again across the wider stretches of wall.

Before the color

These photographs show the same façades before the mural. The dark finish, rooflines, and openings were already there. The painting gives the eye a route through them, drawing the long exterior together without covering every part of the wall.

A mural that follows the building

An exterior commission can begin with a simple question: how should this place look as someone approaches it? For this project, the answer is movement. The curves carry across the architecture and give the building a visual rhythm that changes with the viewing angle.

I design custom murals for commercial exteriors, entrances, and large walls, with travel available for projects across the U.S. Send a few wall photos and tell me what you have in mind.
